Factory Re-Lighting with Tamlite Lighting
Project Overview
Glasby Electrical partnered with Tamlite Lighting to deliver a full lighting upgrade at a plastic manufacturing facility. The aim was to improve visibility, enhance workplace safety, and reduce energy consumption—ultimately lowering ongoing operational costs.
Scope of Works
Lighting Design & Planning: Collaborated with Tamlite to create a bespoke lighting scheme using industrial-grade, energy-efficient LED luminaires tailored to the factory’s layout and specific operational needs.
Installation: Carried out the complete electrical installation, including the safe removal of outdated lighting, circuit modifications, and the installation of new LED units across all key areas—production, storage, and administration.
Compliance & Safety: Delivered a fully compliant system with integrated emergency lighting, designed to meet current lux level requirements and energy efficiency standards.
Outcome
The project delivered a 40% reduction in energy use and significantly enhanced overall lighting quality throughout the facility. The investment paid for itself within just 1.3 years through energy savings and lower maintenance costs.
