Complete Electrical Installation for Commercial Bakery
Project Overview
Glasby Electrical was commissioned to deliver a full electrical installation for a newly constructed commercial bakery. The project encompassed power distribution, emergency lighting, and a fully addressable fire alarm system – each element designed to meet stringent safety standards while supporting the bakery’s 24/7 production environment.
Scope of Works
Power Installation: Designed and installed a reliable, scalable power distribution system to serve ovens, mixers, refrigeration units, and general bakery equipment. The system was engineered for optimal load management and future expansion.
Emergency Lighting: Supplied and fitted compliant emergency lighting throughout all production, storage, and exit routes, ensuring safe and visible evacuation in the event of power failure.
Fire Alarm System: Installed a fully addressable fire alarm system including smoke and heat detectors, manual call points, and sounders. The system was tailored to suit the bakery’s high-risk operating environment.
Outcome
The project was completed on time and passed all regulatory inspections without issue. By taking an integrated approach to design and installation, we minimised disruption during commissioning and delivered a robust, future-proof electrical infrastructure.
